i didn’t find anything where they warn us that this is going to happen. i went to their “what’s new” down at the bottom of the page and it says nothing about taking the directory away. They’re taking away one of the best things about sharing and supporting on tumblr. I’m kind of pissed about it. I know you are on the top page of the directory and i usually stay on the second page which is fine with me and i know that i get followers that way. And it’s fun to recommend people. This whole tag/explore thing is messy. :/

I feel the same way. I loved recommending people and tumblr tuesday was a lot of fun. I was on the top page of the directory for a while and got lots of followers this way but then I stopped posting for a month and dropped to the second or third. Not that it matters, really. It was really cool to see people I admire and recommend on the top of the directory. I wish they left the thing alone.

I agree, the tag/explore thing doesn’t mean anything to me, it’s quite confusing… =/
